Fuel gas is commonly used to feed turbine engines in the power generating industry. Preliminary fuel treatment is mandatory to ensure removal of solid, liquid and gas contaminants.
Sites can realize complete fuel gas treatment packages:
- Filtration unit consists of filters separator type vertical or horizontal complete with coalescence or demister technlogy.
- Heating unit composed by electric heaters suitable for hazardous area installation upon request.
- Pressure reduction unit composed by one or more reduction lines, to guarantee 100% or more flowrate capacity (eg. 3 x 50% to have two lines operation and one back-up line).
- Metering unit composed by calibrated orifices, differential pressure transmitter and temperature transmitter for volume compensation or other flow measurement techniques.
